This role sits within the museum or heritage house of a leading luxury maison, typically part of a global luxury goods group. The institution preserves and interprets the brand's archives and craftsmanship, presenting curated narratives to collectors, clients and the public while operating to the exacting standards of the luxury sector.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc guided tours that communicate the maison’s history, craftsmanship and collections with accuracy and narrative flair.
• Adapt tour content and tone for diverse audiences — private clients, trade professionals, press, schools and VIP visitors — while preserving curator-approved messages.
• Collaborate with curatorial and education teams to remain current on exhibitions, acquisitions and interpretive materials.
• Manage group logistics during visits: timekeeping, visitor flow, basic crowd control and adherence to conservation and safety protocols.
• Support special events, private viewings and client hospitality initiatives, including bespoke tour scripting when required.
• Collect and report visitor feedback, attendance data and recurring enquiries to inform programming and interpretation.
• Represent the institution with polished service standards, maintaining professional presentation and confidentiality when required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and public-speaking skills with the ability to engage varied audiences.
• Strong knowledge of art, design, fashion history or material culture relevant to the maison; demonstrable ability to interpret complex content clearly.
• Proven customer-service aptitude and professional presentation appropriate to a luxury environment.
• Comfort with working irregular hours, including weekends and occasional evenings for events.
• Right to work in the role’s country and willingness to complete site-specific training (e.g., collections handling, health & safety).

Skills

Experience

Preferably 1–3 years of visitor-facing or interpretive experience in museums, galleries, cultural institutions, or heritage houses; experience in luxury-brand environments or high-end client service is an advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in art history, museum studies, cultural heritage, humanities or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
