Saks Global Distribution Coordinator in Pittston, PA — onsite distribution role ensuring merchandise flow; starts at $19.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day distribution center functions including processing, material handling and shipment staging to ensure merchandise reaches designated end destinations on schedule.
- Investigate and resolve receipt discrepancies with outside business partners and internal stakeholders to preserve inventory accuracy.
- Prioritize inbound and outbound freight to meet daily throughput and service goals.
- Verify merchandise receipts for accuracy and completeness against manifests and system records.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance standards across assigned work areas.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently while communicating effectively with leadership, business partners and customers.
- Comfortable learning and using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Capable of standing an entire shift and repetitively lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.; able to operate a manual pallet jack.
- Ability to work a pre‑set schedule and adapt to operational priorities.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal; must demonstrate English comprehension during interview.
Skills
Experience
Previous distribution center, warehouse or logistics experience is preferred. Experience using RF scanning technology and Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in logistics or material handling are a plus.

The base compensation for this position is USD 19 per hour.
