Saks Global Night Shift Operations Supervisor in Pittston, PA — lead stocking, inventory and order fulfillment at the distribution center.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team across inbound, outbound, quality, returns, and stocking to achieve operational and productivity targets while fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Conduct daily shift briefings and manage workforce staffing, scheduling and timekeeping to meet night-shift operational requirements.
- Enforce and champion safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and promote a culture of safety awareness across the shift.
- Oversee day-to-day area operations including productivity, inventory control, order fulfillment accuracy and quality assurance.
- Implement and drive process improvements to increase efficiency and operational accuracy.
- Monitor performance metrics, develop action plans for areas of concern, and produce operational performance reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work assigned night shift schedule and perform additional hours as business needs require.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory/management experience in supply chain, distribution, transportation or inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience with automated order fulfillment systems and warehouse technologies.
- Working knowledge of WMS, quality and productivity measurement systems and warehouse processes.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships at all organizational levels and to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); must demonstrate English understanding during interview.
Skills
Experience
Three or more years of qualitative and quantitative management experience in distribution, operations, transportation or inventory management, including supervising frontline teams and working with automated fulfillment systems.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, operations management, business administration or related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 51,000 to USD 68,000 per annum.
