Saks Global Distribution Center Lead in Pittston, Pennsylvania — oversee shipping & receiving, coach warehouse teams, and ensure on-time fulfillment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure merchandise reaches designated destinations on schedule.
- Train, coach and mentor distribution center associates to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Perform departmental functions including processing, material handling and problem resolution.
- Prioritise inbound and outbound freight to achieve daily goals and maintain throughput.
- Verify accuracy of received merchandise and resolve discrepancies.
- Operate RF scanning equipment to support inventory and fulfillment processes.
- Cross-train across multiple departments to support operational flexibility.
- Maintain safety, housekeeping standards and adherence to site procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Demonstrated experience training, coaching and leading hourly teams.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices and basic warehouse technology.
- Comfortable using computers, email and Google Suite; able to learn proprietary systems.
- Ability to operate manual pallet jack and perform physical duties (stand full shifts; lift/pull up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to hear equipment/warning signals.
Skills
Experience
Five or more years working within warehouse/distribution operations with a proven track record of supervising or leading a team and meeting productivity targets.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or certifications in logistics/warehouse operations preferred.

The base compensation for this position is USD 22 per hour.
