Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain dish, trash, and floor areas to the highest health and kitchen standards
- Operate and monitor the dish machine, including chemical level verification and malfunction reporting
- Wash and organize pots, pans, dishes, flatware, glassware, and silver with consistent pacing and care
- Maintain floor cleanliness by removing spills, grease, and debris throughout service
- Monitor and empty trash containers as needed
- Assist with kitchen preparation and additional cleaning tasks as directed
- Uphold all health, sanitation, and safety standards per Neiman Marcus protocols, local Health Department requirements, and third-party sanitation audits
- Maintain professional relationships with culinary staff and front-of-house team members
Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain consistent pace in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays on business need basis
- Physical capability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Knowledge of sanitizing materials and chemical handling for food service environments
