Role & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the dish machine, including monitoring chemical levels and reporting malfunctions to management
- Wash and organize all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and silverware while exercising caution with breakables
- Maintain rigorous cleanliness of dish areas, trash zones, and kitchen floors in compliance with Health Department and sanitation audit standards
- Monitor and empty trash receptacles as needed to maintain kitchen organization
- Prepare and organize all sanitizing solutions for washing stations
- Provide flexible support to kitchen preparation and additional cleaning tasks as directed
- Maintain professional relationships and collaborative communication with all kitchen staff, line cooks, chefs, and front-of-house team members
- Comply with all Health and Sanitation standards as mandated by Neiman Marcus, local Health Department, and third-party sanitation auditors
Qualifications
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
