Director, Retail Learning & Selling Enablement - Remote, Texas. Lead retail training strategy and sales enablement initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive retail learning and selling enablement strategies aligned with organizational sales objectives
- Design, create, and maintain training curriculum, coaching tools, and sales resources for retail associates and managers
- Oversee the implementation of learning programs across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Measure training effectiveness through KPIs and feedback mechanisms, with continuous program optimization
- Collaborate with retail operations, merchandising, and marketing to ensure enablement materials reflect current product knowledge and brand positioning
- Lead and mentor a team dedicated to learning program delivery and sales coaching
- Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms for training delivery and assessment
- Report on learning program outcomes, associate skill development, and impact on sales metrics to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in developing and scaling retail learning programs or sales enablement initiatives
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices

- Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable learning and development programs
- Expertise in retail sales processes, customer engagement, and performance management

Skills
Experience
8+ years of progressive experience in retail learning, sales enablement, organizational development, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level capacity overseeing training programs and team performance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in instructional design (such as IDOL or ATD credentials) are preferred.
