Director of Commercial Accounting opportunity in remote Texas role, overseeing accounting operations and financial reporting for luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the commercial accounting team
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with corporate standards
- Manage financial reporting and analysis for commercial operations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with senior finance leadership on strategic initiatives
- Monitor budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification
- Minimum 10+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a director or senior management role
- Strong knowledge of commercial accounting practices and retail financial operations
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
