Director, Financial Reporting position based remote in Texas. Lead financial reporting operations and strategy for a luxury organization.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Direct a team of accounting professionals responsible for consolidation, close processes, and financial statement preparation
  • Establish and maintain financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure organizational compliance
  • Collaborate with senior finance leadership and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial disclosures
  • Monitor evolving accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to reporting frameworks and processes
  • Provide strategic guidance on accounting matters and financial reporting implications to executive management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred
  • Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit management
  • Advanced proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
