Director, Financial Reporting position based remote in Texas. Lead financial reporting operations and strategy for a luxury organization.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Direct a team of accounting professionals responsible for consolidation, close processes, and financial statement preparation
- Establish and maintain financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure organizational compliance
- Collaborate with senior finance leadership and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate financial disclosures
- Monitor evolving accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to reporting frameworks and processes
- Provide strategic guidance on accounting matters and financial reporting implications to executive management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred
- Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit management
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities

Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior or director-level role managing financial reporting functions and teams
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA or CFA certification preferred
