Role & Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate food items for daily menus and special events in retail restaurant operations
- Monitor and control daily and weekly food inventories to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Maintain team awareness of inventory costs through proper use of production sheets and order documentation
- Coordinate daily menu production using build-to sheets and menu counts to manage waste effectively
- Communicate supply needs and special orders with head cook and restaurant associates
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment in compliance with all health and sanitation standards
- Report equipment malfunctions to designated supervisors
- Manage the flow of food orders by maintaining prompt communication with front-of-house staff
- Close and sanitize work areas according to health codes at day's end
- Uphold all Health and Sanitation standards as directed by Neiman Marcus and local Health Department regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Collaborative team-oriented mindset

Experience
At least 3 years of professional cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining or luxury retail environment with exposure to inventory management and kitchen operations.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
