Leading luxury fashion house in Paris hiring a Cash Administrator to manage daily cash reconciliations, deposits and cash controls.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash reconciliations for boutiques and corporate tills, reconciling point-of-sale (POS) reports with cash totals and electronic payments.
- Prepare bank deposits, manage cash pick-ups and ensure secure transportation and custody procedures in accordance with internal controls.
- Maintain accurate cash journals and post transactions to the cash ledger; prepare periodic cash reports for the finance team.
- Investigate and resolve cash discrepancies, liaising with store managers, security and treasury as required.
- Support month-end and year-end cash close activities and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
- Implement and enforce cash handling policies and loss-prevention procedures; train store teams on cash controls and best practices.
- Coordinate with banking partners and treasury for cash forecasting, float management and exception handling.
Qualifications
- Proven integrity and strong attention to detail; ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Solid numeracy and analytical skills; aptitude for identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Familiarity with retail cash controls, POS reconciliation and bank deposit processes.
