Saks Global hiring a Buying Operations Associate in Bengaluru, India — manage POs, vendor coordination and buying operations for a leading luxury retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately process purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner using the company’s purchasing systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies.
- Prioritise orders based on urgency, business needs and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain and update internal trackers and databases to monitor order status, delivery schedules and costs.
- Support vendor onboarding by collecting required documentation and setting up vendor records.
- Generate and deliver reports on buying activity, order accuracy and vendor compliance.
- Monitor adherence to SLAs, escalate delays or exceptions to stakeholders and follow through on resolutions.
- Act as liaison between US buying offices, planners, vendors and the leadership team.
- Document and maintain best practices, workflow dashboards and business metric reporting.
- Undertake special projects and provide regular updates on order status, vendor performance and operational KPIs.

Experience supporting buying, merchandising or procurement operations in retail or wholesale environments; typically 1–3 years handling POs, vendor coordination and operational reporting.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
