Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador of Saks Fifth Avenue store presentation standards, maintaining merchandise positioning, brand-specific requirements, and company expectations across all departments
- Support and execute major projects including large-scale relayering throughout the store and seasonal refresh initiatives
- Maintain merchandising standards on the selling floor with particular focus on key categories such as shoes, handbags, and Men's Advanced Designer departments
- Support closing routines using the close-to-open philosophy to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent standards
- Foster collaborative relationships with Selling Advisors and team members to ensure floor presentation excellence and proactive maintenance
- Coordinate schedule alignment with Selling Advisors to provide floor presence during peak risk periods for merchandise standards deterioration
- Act as a liaison between operations and selling teams to ensure clients receive an elevated, seamless shopping experience
- Mentor and train fellow Brand Steward Associates on store standards and best practices
- Maintain a professional, polished demeanor while demonstrating confidence, positive attitude, and initiative in completing ad hoc responsibilities
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant retail or fast-paced environment experience
- Current knowledge of luxury fashion trends and Saks Fifth Avenue presentation standards
- Strong understanding of Saks Fifth Avenue brand positioning and values
- Ability to work flexible schedules including opening, late-day, holiday, and weekend shifts
- Professional and respectful interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
