Role & Responsibilities
- Model Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales targets, and departmental daily and monthly objectives
- Create and develop outstanding customer relationships by serving as brand expert and departmental representative
- Maintain professional image and effective communication with designated Account Executives
- Utilize Neiman Marcus clienteling resource tool to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences
- Provide exceptional service across the entire customer journey from approach, consultation, application, to closing the sale and post-purchase follow-up
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming selling environment
- Conduct professional makeup consultations and treatment applications
- Support in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or skincare environment
- Demonstrated successful sales track record with proven ability to exceed quota
- Proficiency in professional makeup and skincare consultation and application techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Competence with online clienteling tools and Neiman Marcus proprietary software systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated sound business judgment and organizational ability
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of professional retail experience in a customer-focused environment, with preference for prior cosmetics or luxury beauty retail background. Demonstrated record of achieving and exceeding individual sales quotas.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
