Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank) in every customer interaction
- Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, and department sales goals while driving personal business growth through clienteling
- Maintain a high level of customer service by establishing and developing excellent customer relationships as the designated brand expert
- Utilize Neiman Marcus's proprietary online clienteling resource tool to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences
- Provide consultative beauty services including makeup application, skincare recommendations, and treatment consultations
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming selling environment
- Serve as a professional liaison between Neiman Marcus and Account Executives for assigned vendors
- Execute all aspects of the retail sale cycle from customer approach through post-purchase follow-up
- Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked consultation events to drive event sales
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas in a previous retail role
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and retail management software
- Professional makeup and treatment consultation and application expertise
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and sound business judgment
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining service excellence and maintaining a positive demeanor
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, with preference for cosmetics or beauty retail. Previously demonstrated success exceeding sales quotas and managing customer accounts.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Professional makeup or esthetics certification preferred.
