Role & Responsibilities

• Model the Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) consistently with every customer interaction
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, and departmental sales goals through consultative selling and product expertise
• Establish and develop strong customer relationships by serving as the brand expert and knowledgeable department representative
• Maintain liaison relationships with designated vendor Account Executives and foster positive inter-departmental collaboration
• Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary clienteling resource tool to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences to drive personal business growth
• Deliver exceptional service from initial customer approach through product application, closing the sale, and post-purchase follow-up
• Ensure counter areas are consistently maintained at high standards—clean, organized, and welcoming—reflecting luxury retail standards
• Participate in in-house training programs and pre-booked facial consultation events to expand expertise and revenue opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or luxury beauty environment
• Demonstrated track record of successful sales performance and exceeding quota targets
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring strong multitasking capabilities and minimal supervision
• Proficiency with digital tools and ability to quickly master proprietary online clienteling software
• Strong attention to detail with initiative-driven work approach
• Ability to balance independent business development with collaborative teamwork
• Sound business judgment and organizational skills
• Professional competence in makeup and skincare consultation and application techniques

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably in cosmetics or luxury beauty. Previously demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas in a retail setting.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetics certification or beauty training a plus but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
