Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for assigned channels (selective retail, department stores and key wholesale partners) to achieve sales, margin and distribution targets.
- Own P&L responsibilities for the business unit: forecasting, budget management, pricing strategy and margin optimisation.
- Manage and grow key account relationships, leading negotiations, assortment decisions and promotional planning with retail partners and distributors.
- Coordinate product launches and seasonal trading plans with marketing, merchandising and visual teams to ensure alignment on storytelling, stock flow and in-store execution.
- Drive sell-out through trade marketing initiatives, training programmes, clienteling activities and bespoke client events; ensure CRM best practices are implemented across accounts.
- Monitor and report on commercial KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, inventory days, sell-through, conversion) and deliver actionable analysis to senior management.
- Lead, coach and cross-functionally align internal stakeholders and external retail teams to secure consistent brand standards and exceptional client experience.
- Manage inventory cadence and replenishment with supply chain partners to minimise stockouts and optimise distribution.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in prestige beauty, fragrance or premium cosmetics with responsibility for wholesale and/or retail business development.
- Demonstrable P&L ownership and experience delivering against revenue, margin and distribution targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with advanced skills in forecasting, pricing and KPI analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and account-management skills, with experience engaging department stores, specialty retailers or distributors.
- Leadership capability with prior experience coaching cross-functional teams or retail partners.
- Fluent French and professional English (written and spoken); additional languages advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly to client locations and trade events.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of experience in the prestige beauty or fragrance industry with at least 2–3 years in commercial or key account management roles, including responsibility for P&L, distributor or department store relationships and multi-channel go-to-market execution.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, commerce or equivalent; postgraduate qualifications in luxury brand management or marketing are advantageous.
