Role & Responsibilities

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue service principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank) consistently across all customer interactions
• Achieve and exceed individual, vendor line, event, and departmental sales goals through strategic account development and consultative selling
• Establish and maintain high-caliber customer relationships through expert brand knowledge and personalized advisory services
• Serve as a professional liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and designated account executives and vendor partners
• Utilize Saks Fifth Avenue's proprietary clienteling software to document customer preferences, transaction history, and engagement patterns for targeted business development
• Deliver comprehensive beauty consultations encompassing makeup application, skincare guidance, and professional treatment recommendations
• Manage pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs to drive customer engagement and vendor partnerships
• Maintain counter standards through meticulous merchandising, cleanliness, and visual presentation of luxury beauty products
• Execute closing techniques and post-sale customer follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas and achieving consistent sales targets
• Proficiency in makeup consultation, professional application techniques, and skincare treatment knowledge
• Ability to navigate digital clienteling platforms and learn proprietary Saks Fifth Avenue software systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clientele
• Sound business judgment and organizational acumen in a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment
• Capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented structure

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused, preferably cosmetics-focused environment, with demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and building clientele relationships. Prior experience in beauty consultation, makeup application, or skincare advisory is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Specialized beauty industry certifications or cosmetology training are advantageous but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.03 to USD 27.54 per hour.
