Chanel is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Paris: deliver luxury client consultations, makeup and skincare services at the Paris boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised beauty consultations and skin-care recommendations to high-value clients, adapting guidance to individual needs and preferences.
- Perform professional make-up applications, product demonstrations and tailored regimens that showcase the Maison's fragrance and cosmetics range.
- Drive sales performance through expert merchandising, upselling and cross-selling while consistently meeting individual and boutique targets.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling, appointment management and follow-up communications.
- Maintain boutique standards: ensure displays, tester areas and presentation meet Chanel visual merchandising and hygiene protocols.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and ensure proper handling of stock, samples and returns.
- Participate in product trainings, seasonal initiatives and launches to remain current on formulation, ingredient benefits and application techniques.
- Adhere to brand confidentiality, client privacy and regulatory requirements governing cosmetics retailing.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience within prestige beauty or luxury cosmetics (preferably in a boutique environment).
- Professional proficiency in make-up application and skin-care consultation; formal cosmetology or beauty certification is advantageous.
- Demonstrable ability to meet sales targets and cultivate repeat clientele through consultative selling.
- Excellent interpersonal presence, polished communication and the capacity to represent the Chanel image with discretion and professionalism.
- Flexible availability to work boutique hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of two years’ experience in luxury beauty retail or as a professional makeup artist, with a track record of delivering high-touch client service and achieving sales objectives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy or makeup artistry preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France.
