Neiman Marcus seeks a Beauty Advisor in Newport Beach to drive cosmetics sales and deliver luxury customer experiences with Chanel, Tom Ford, and Cellcosmet brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
- Drive individual and vendor line sales volumes, event sales, and daily/monthly department targets
- Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships as a brand expert and department representative
- Utilize Neiman Marcus's clienteling system to record, maintain, and leverage customer information and preferences
- Conduct professional makeup consultations, applications, and skincare treatments
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming selling environment
- Serve as liaison between Neiman Marcus and designated brand Account Executives
- Execute end-to-end customer experience from approach through follow-up post-sale
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics environment
- Proven successful sales experience with demonstrated quota achievement
- Proficiency with online clienteling tools and retail management software
- Professional competency in makeup application and skincare consultation
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational ability and sound business judgment
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, with preference for cosmetics or beauty retail backgrounds. Prior demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty, cosmetics, or skincare certification is advantageous but not required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 23.10 per hour.
