Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank) in all customer interactions
- Focus on achieving and exceeding individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily/monthly sales targets
- Maintain a consistent high level of customer service by creating and developing excellent customer relationships as the brand and department expert
- Utilize Neiman Marcus's proprietary online clienteling resource tool to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences to drive individual business
- Provide exceptional customer experience from initial approach, product application, to closing the sale and post-purchase follow-up
- Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming selling area
- Demonstrate professional makeup and skincare consultation and application expertise
- Work effectively with team members and coordinate with designated Account Executives to maintain positive brand representation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota
- Ability to learn and proficiently utilize online clienteling tools and proprietary Neiman Marcus software
- Professional makeup application and skincare treatment consultation capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Sound business judgment and independent initiative
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally in cosmetics or beauty. Demonstrated track record of successfully exceeding individual sales quotas.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional beauty or cosmetics certification preferred but not required.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22.03 to USD 27.54 per hour.
