Role & Responsibilities

• Model and exemplify Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all client interactions
• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals, vendor line sales targets, and departmental sales objectives through proactive clienteling and consultative selling
• Maintain consistent, high-level customer service by building expert brand knowledge and developing strong client relationships
• Utilize Neiman Marcus's online clienteling platform to record, maintain, and leverage client information and preferences to drive personalized business development
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences across all touchpoints—from initial approach through makeup application, consultation, and post-sale follow-up
• Facilitate pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs to enhance client engagement and product knowledge
• Maintain counter standards by ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming selling environment
• Serve as a liaison between Neiman Marcus, client accounts, and designated Account Executives to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
• Demonstrated successful sales history with experience exceeding quota targets
• Proficiency with makeup application and skincare treatment consultation and recommendations
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize online clienteling software and proprietary Neiman Marcus systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with minimal supervision

Skills

Experience

Minimum 1 year of retail experience in a customer-focused environment, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or luxury goods retail. Previously demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding individual sales quotas is required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in cosmetology, esthetics, or beauty consultation is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.16 to USD 23.95 per hour.
