Role & Responsibilities
- Model all Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, and Thank) to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
- Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals, event sales goals, and department daily and monthly sales targets
- Utilize Neiman Marcus's proprietary clienteling system to record and maintain client information, preferences, and purchase history to drive personalized business development
- Provide comprehensive beauty consultations, professional makeup application, and skincare treatment recommendations to establish expertise and build client loyalty
- Maintain the cosmetics counter to the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal to create an inviting shopping environment
- Coordinate pre-booked facial consultation events and in-house training programs to drive engagement and sales
- Serve as the primary liaison between Neiman Marcus, beauty brand partners, and Account Executives to ensure seamless vendor collaboration
- Execute the complete customer journey from initial approach through application, sale closure, and post-purchase follow-up to maximize customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Proficiency in professional makeup artistry and skincare consultation and application techniques
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize online clienteling tools and Neiman Marcus-proprietary software systems
- Strong organizational abilities and sound business judgment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to take initiative independently
