Role & Responsibilities
- Apply Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend, Thank) in all customer interactions
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets, vendor line sales goals, and departmental monthly objectives
- Develop and maintain client relationships through professional makeup consultations, treatment advice, and product application expertise
- Utilize the proprietary Neiman Marcus clienteling system to record, track, and leverage client information and purchasing preferences to drive personalized business growth
- Serve as brand ambassador and liaison between Neiman Marcus clients and designated vendor Account Executives
- Execute exceptional customer service from initial approach through post-sale follow-up, with focus on consultative selling and relationship building
- Maintain an immaculate, welcoming, and well-merchandised retail counter environment
- Conduct pre-booked facial consultations and in-house training events to drive engagement and loyalty
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused cosmetics or beauty environment
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Professional proficiency in makeup application and skincare consultation techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment
- Capability to learn and proficiently operate Neiman Marcus's proprietary clienteling software and online tools
- Excellent multitasking abilities in a dynamic retail setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently to build personal business
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of professional retail experience, ideally within a customer-centric cosmetics, beauty, or luxury retail environment. Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing individual and departmental sales targets in a competitive setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty certification or cosmetics training is advantageous but not required.
