Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as wine, beer and non‑alcoholic beverages, to a consistently high standard.
  • Deliver discreet, personalised guest service, anticipating needs and cultivating a memorable bar experience for affluent and international clientele.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale system, manage cash and card transactions accurately and reconcile takings at shift end.
  • Maintain bar mise en place, replenish stock, monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and stock rotation.
  • Ensure full compliance with local licensing, health and safety, and hygiene regulations; uphold company standards for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house and events teams to support private functions, menu launches and high‑volume service periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience in a luxury hotel, upscale cocktail bar or high‑volume hospitality venue preferred (typically 2+ years).
  • Vocational qualification in hospitality, mixology or equivalent preferred; certified alcohol safety or HACCP training advantageous.
