Confidential Employer, Paris seeks a part-time Barista/Cashier for its onsite cafeteria. Serve premium beverages and manage POS transactions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based and brewed beverages to exacting quality and presentation standards.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) terminals, handle cash and card transactions accurately and reconcile takings at shift end.
- Deliver attentive, polished customer service to employees, visitors and VIPs while upholding brand service protocols.
- Maintain café cleanliness, food-safety compliance and daily sanitation procedures (including dishwashing and equipment care).
- Follow opening and closing procedures, restock consumables and monitor ingredient inventory; communicate shortages to supervision.
- Support simple food assembly and portioning tasks (sandwiches, pastries) following allergen and hygiene guidelines.
- Assist with minor maintenance of coffee equipment and escalate technical issues to facilities or external technicians.
Qualifications
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills; ability to represent a luxury brand in a front-facing role.
- Basic numeracy and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
- Familiarity with food-safety regulations; national/local food safety certificate (e.g., HACCP) preferred.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, lunch shifts and occasional weekends; reliable punctuality.
- Ability to lift moderate loads (stock boxes) and stand for extended periods during a shift.

Preferably 1+ year of experience in a café, coffee shop or fast-paced food service environment; previous work within a branded or luxury setting is an advantage.
Education
