Saks Global Associate, Payroll Processing role in India: manage North American payroll, tax, and month-end close activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform state and federal tax calculations, payments, reports, month-end journals, and GL reconciliations
- Maintain day-to-day contact with onshore payroll teams for payroll processing activities
- Ensure adherence to Payroll and HR policies, internal control and audit requirements, and service standards
- Ensure completion of all period-end close activities according to the close schedule
- Review accounting entries and month-end account reconciliations as part of period-end close activities
- Manage payroll inquiries via tickets and mailboxes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance
- Minimum 2–4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with MNCs or Global In-house Centers
- Minimum 6 months of experience with North American payroll
- Experience with Workday payroll platform
- Prior experience in US or Canada payroll preferred

Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with multinational corporations or Global In-house Centers, with preference for retail industry background. Minimum 6 months of documented experience with North American payroll processing and tax administration is required.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance.
