Exemplar Luxury Group seeks an Associate, Buying Operations in India to process purchase orders and coordinate with vendors in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders accurately and timely using relevant operational tools
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies
- Prioritize orders based on urgency, business needs, and service level agreements
- Maintain internal trackers and databases to monitor order statuses, delivery schedules, and costs
- Support the onboarding of new vendors by collecting required documentation and setting up records
- Generate reports on buying activity, order accuracy, and vendor compliance
- Ensure adherence to SLAs and escalate delays or exceptions to relevant stakeholders
- Serve as liaison between US buying offices, vendors, and leadership teams
- Create and document operational best practices and workflow procedures
- Maintain workflow dashboards and report on business metrics and operational performance
Qualifications

Skills
Experience
Experience in buying operations, procurement coordination, or supply chain administration is preferred, with demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including merchandising, planning, and vendor management.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant coursework in business operations, procurement, or supply chain management is preferred.
