Leading luxury fashion house — Paris: Assistant Support Manager, Ready-to-Wear. Support merchandising, inventory and store launches for the RTW line.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the RTW merchandising and operations teams in daily execution across assortment planning, allocation and replenishment for wholesale and retail channels.
- Coordinate cross‑functional workflows between buying, planning, production and store operations to ensure on-time launches and consistent product availability.
- Monitor sell-through, inventory levels and ageing stock; produce regular reporting and actionable recommendations to improve KPIs.
- Assist in preparation of merchandising packs, line reviews and seasonal buy documents; maintain accuracy of product and costing data.
- Drive process improvements for stock management and order fulfilment, liaising with logistics and supply‑chain partners.
- Support store onboarding for new launches, including training materials, visual directives and operational checklists.
- Supervise and mentor junior support staff; manage daily task allocation and quality control for the support function.
- Collaborate with visual merchandising to ensure presentation standards and with clienteling teams to optimise commercial programmes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in ready-to-wear merchandising, retail operations or wholesale support, preferably within a luxury fashion environment.
- Proven ability to analyse sales and inventory data to generate commercial insights and recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and driving process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional presentation and stakeholder management aptitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion, business, merchandising or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Minimum three years’ relevant experience in ready-to-wear merchandising, retail operations or wholesale support, with demonstrated exposure to inventory planning, allocation and cross‑departmental project delivery. Luxury or premium brand experience strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in fashion, business, merchandising or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
