Saks Global seeks an Assistant Manager, Facilities in Bengaluru, India — lead transport, F&B, MEP, HSE and vendor performance for a 24/5 workplace.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end employee transport and fleet operations: roster planning, vehicle dispatching, real‑time tracking and first response to transport incidents.
- Oversee food & beverage and cafeteria services including vendor quality control, daily hygiene audits, and compliance with food‑safety certifications (e.g., HACCP).
- Lead facility operations across hard and soft services: supervise MEP (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) preventive maintenance, housekeeping, inventory of consumables and shift handovers for a 24/5 workplace.
- Drive vendor performance through SLA and KPI governance: conduct daily audits, monthly reviews, data‑driven scorecards and ensure contractual integrity during renewals and SOW definitions.
- Maintain Health, Safety & Environment compliance: implement fire and emergency drills, support ERT training, manage first‑aid readiness and ensure adherence to local fire/building codes.
- Optimise cost and operational efficiency by identifying route consolidations, reducing vehicle empty miles, controlling food waste and monitoring vendor billing accuracy.
- Provide hands‑on shift leadership and on‑call availability for weekend or critical maintenance emergencies to ensure continuity and 99% uptime for critical assets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years' experience in Facilities Management, preferably within high‑growth corporate or 24/7 IT/BT operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrable experience managing third‑party vendors and operating under SLA/KPI frameworks.
- Proven experience overseeing MEP maintenance programmes and workplace services in a large corporate environment.
- Availability for rotational shift work and on‑call duties to support a 24/5 operation.

Experience
At least 10 years in facility management with hands‑on responsibility for transport/fleet, catering/cafeteria services, housekeeping and MEP in a large, 24/7 or 24/5 corporate environment; proven track record of running vendor‑driven, performance‑oriented operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
