Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the divisional buyer in achieving sales and gross margin objectives for women's designer ready‑to‑wear.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations of the buying office, including vendor communications and store support.

  • Recap and analyze selling, category and vendor performance to inform assortment and promotional decisions.

Qualifications

  • Must reside within commuting distance of New York City and be available for market appointments.
  • Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cross‑functional stakeholder communications.
  • Highly organized, results‑oriented and able to perform in a fast‑paced, changing retail environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Excel certification a plus) and comfort with merchandise analytics.
