Role & Responsibilities
- Serves as brand ambassador for the vendor at Bergdorf Goodman, fostering and maintaining alignment with both the BG brand vision and the vendor brand culture
- Manages and develops the assistant sales team, providing comprehensive coaching, training, and professional development across customer service protocols, selling techniques, scheduling, meeting attendance, and daily task oversight
- Executes strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets for both Bergdorf Goodman and the vendor brand, including individual associate goal attainment such as sales volume and defined key performance indicators
- Leads the planning and execution of client-facing events and experiences in partnership with Bergdorf Goodman and the vendor
- Facilitates seasonal inventory buy reviews in collaboration with the Business Manager while managing advance and reserve requests
- Ensures all associates participate in vendor training programs, including collection launches, seasonal marketing messaging, selling ceremony instruction, and operational training
- Compiles business performance recaps and communicates key insights to stakeholders through executive summaries and seller-focused communications
- Maintains strict confidentiality of proprietary business information and demonstrates discretion in all internal and external communications
Qualifications
