Confidential luxury house in London seeks an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead loss-prevention, CCTV and investigative operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily loss-prevention operations across the store, including deployment and management of security personnel and schedules.
  • Monitor and analyse CCTV, POS exception reports and inventory discrepancies to detect, investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud or internal loss.
  • Lead and conduct investigations into suspected internal and external theft; collect evidence, interview witnesses and prepare concise investigative reports for store leadership and legal authorities.
  • Implement and enforce store security policies, access controls and emergency procedures in partnership with store management and corporate security.
  • Deliver training and coaching to frontline staff on loss-prevention procedures, incident reporting, conflict de-escalation and customer-facing security best practices.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and external vendors (alarm services, CCTV maintenance) when required and coordinate follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, KPIs and weekly/monthly shrinkage reports; recommend process improvements to reduce loss and enhance operational compliance.
  • Support audit and compliance activities, including stocktakes, back-of-house controls and supplier/delivery verification.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in retail loss prevention, security or asset protection (ideally within luxury retail).
  • Experience conducting investigations, preparing written reports and testifying to authorities when necessary.
  • Where applicable, valid security accreditation (e.g., SIA licence in the UK) or equivalent local certification.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, POS procedures and inventory control measures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak retail periods.
