Role & Responsibilities
- Own inventory-shortage performance and execute the store-level Asset Protection strategy to minimize loss and protect company assets.
- Lead and manage investigations into internal and external theft, ensuring compliance with apprehension guidelines and applicable laws.
- Partner closely with Store Leadership, corporate Investigators, and cross-functional teams to drive awareness, accountability and corrective action.
- Plan, execute and document audits and annual physical inventory reconciliations; summarize findings and drive remediation with store leadership.
- Oversee physical security systems and camera functionality, recommending enhancements and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Design and deliver store-wide communication, training, safety sessions and shortage-awareness initiatives to front-line teams.
- Develop and coach Asset Protection Investigators, providing daily leadership, performance feedback and technical development.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of retail Asset Protection experience, preferably in high-volume or complex retail environments.
- College degree preferred.
- Proven leadership with strong relationship-building, coaching and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to large and diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supervising and developing diverse teams to meet operational and statistical goals.
- Proficiency with retail security systems, reporting platforms and productivity software.

Minimum of five years of retail asset-protection or loss-prevention experience, with demonstrated success identifying shortage exposures, leading investigations and implementing mitigation strategies in a high-volume or complex retail environment.
