Asset Protection Investigator in San Francisco – investigate loss, fraud, and security incidents at luxury retail locations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into alleged theft, fraud, and other asset protection violations within retail locations and corporate facilities
- Interview employees, customers, and witnesses to gather evidence and establish facts related to suspected incidents
- Analyze surveillance footage and point-of-sale data to identify irregularities and patterns indicative of loss or misconduct
- Prepare detailed written reports documenting investigation findings, evidence collected, and recommended corrective actions
- Collaborate with law enforcement and external agencies when criminal activity is suspected or confirmed
- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and training programs to reduce asset shrinkage
- Maintain detailed case files and ensure all documentation complies with legal and corporate standards
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and security clearance
- Strong investigative and analytical skills with attention to detail
