Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct discreet, thorough investigations into suspected theft, fraud and internal shrinkage during overnight shifts.
- Operate and monitor CCTV and other electronic surveillance systems to detect, document and deter suspicious activity.
- Perform routine and targeted store patrols; secure premises and respond to alarms or incidents in accordance with policy.
- Collect, preserve and document evidence; prepare clear, timely investigation reports and maintain chain of custody.
- Interview witnesses and suspects, liaise with store management and coordinate with local law enforcement when required.
- Assist in recovery of assets, review point-of-sale transactions, and support internal audit and exception reporting.
- Provide recommendations to reduce loss through operational improvements, training and exception controls.
Qualifications

- Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
