Asset Protection Investigator position in Fort Worth, TX. Investigate retail losses and security incidents, conduct surveillance, and work with management and law enforcement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into suspected theft, fraud, and policy violations across retail locations
- Perform surveillance operations and gather evidence related to security incidents
- Interview staff members, customers, and witnesses to establish facts and timelines
- Analyze point-of-sale systems, inventory records, and video footage to identify discrepancies and suspicious patterns
- Document findings thoroughly and prepare comprehensive investigative reports
- Collaborate with store management and regional security teams to implement corrective actions
- Work with law enforcement and external agencies as needed to support prosecutions or claims
- Identify and recommend security improvements to prevent future losses
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail loss prevention, security investigations, or a related field
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel to different locations as required
