Confidential luxury brand in London seeks an Asset Protection Associate to prevent shrinkage, manage incidents and support boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor sales floor and stock areas to deter theft and reduce shrinkage through proactive presence and surveillance.
- Operate and review CCTV and electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems to identify and investigate suspicious behaviour.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, point-of-sale (POS) audits and stock reconciliations in partnership with store management.
- Respond to incidents and escalations with discretion, preparing detailed incident reports and preserving evidence for potential legal action.
- Deliver discreet, high-quality customer service while enforcing store policies and ensuring a safe environment for clients and colleagues.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and external security providers when required, coordinating follow-up and case documentation.
- Support training of store staff on loss-prevention procedures, safe cash handling, and awareness of internal control processes.
- Maintain radio communications, daily logs and compliance with all company security protocols and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a background check.
- Previous experience in retail loss prevention, retail security, or a comparable security role (preferred).
- Ability to remain visually alert for extended periods and to respond calmly under pressure.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear incident reporting and liaison with authorities.
- Professional discretion, strong ethical standards and a client-focused demeanour.
- Security licence (e.g., SIA) or equivalent preferred where local law requires or for immediate operational eligibility.
