Saks Direct seeks an Art Director & Design leader in San Francisco. Oversee creative vision and manage design teams for luxury retail campaigns.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the creative vision and visual identity of brand campaigns and collateral
- Lead a team of designers and creative professionals in conceptualization and execution of design projects
- Develop strategic design direction aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, and communications to ensure visual consistency
- Review and approve design deliverables across print, digital, and experiential channels
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in art direction or design leadership within luxury retail or fashion
- Demonstrated expertise in brand identity development and visual design systems
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and executed creative work
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Experience
5+ years of experience in art direction, design leadership, or a related creative role, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, or premium lifestyle sectors. Prior experience managing design teams and overseeing large-scale visual campaigns is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, or related discipline. Advanced certification or specialized training in design systems or brand strategy is advantageous.
