Saks Global — Analyst, Analytics & Reporting in New York. Build dashboards and analyse merchandising KPIs to support planning and reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, automate and maintain recurring reports and interactive dashboards that track sales, inventory, margin and other merchandising KPIs.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting outputs; validate datasets and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Perform business performance analysis (sales, margin, turn, sell‑through, weeks of supply) to identify trends, risks and actionable opportunities.
  • Provide timely ad‑hoc analyses to Planning, Buying and Executive stakeholders to inform in‑season course corrections and strategic decisions.
  • Support optimization of reporting tools and processes; identify automation opportunities and improve data accessibility and structure.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Planners, Merchants, Allocation and Operations to gather requirements and translate complex datasets into concise presentations and storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in analytics, planning, reporting or a related function—preferably within retail, fashion or consumer goods.
  • Proven proficiency with Excel and modern BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and experience working with large datasets; attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present data and influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying is a plus.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 62,400 to USD 80,200 per annum.
