Saks Global in New York seeks an Analyst, Analytics & Reporting to build planning analytics and dashboards. Salary $62,400–$80,200.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, automate and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track sales, inventory, margin and other planning KPIs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reports and dashboards; validate and reconcile outputs against source systems.
- Analyze sales, margin, turn, sell‑through and weeks‑of‑supply to identify trends, risks and actionable opportunities.
- Support ad‑hoc reporting requests and deep‑dive analyses for Planning, Buying, Allocation and Executive stakeholders.
- Partner with planners, merchants and operations to gather analytics requirements and translate results into clear recommendations.
- Optimize reporting tools and identify automation opportunities to improve reporting cadence and usability.
- Assist in preparing presentations and data storytelling to influence course‑correction and strategic planning decisions.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in analytics, planning, reporting or a closely related role—preferably in retail, fashion or consumer goods.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
- Strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills with proven ability to work with large datasets.
- Basic SQL or data‑querying experience (preferred).
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present insights to cross‑functional partners.

Experience
2–4 years of analytics, planning, reporting or similar experience; prior exposure to retail, fashion or consumer goods analytics is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 62,400 to USD 80,200 per annum.
