Alterations Manager position in Orlando — oversee luxury garment tailoring operations and lead alterations team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all alterations and tailoring operations for the location
- Supervise alterations staff, ensuring quality standards and timely completion of custom garment modifications
- Train team members on proper tailoring techniques and quality control procedures
- Review completed alterations to ensure they meet luxury brand standards before delivery to clients
- Coordinate with retail sales staff to communicate timelines and manage customer expectations regarding garment modifications
- Maintain inventory of alterations materials and supplies
- Implement efficiency improvements within the alterations workroom
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in luxury garment alterations and bespoke tailoring
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Expert knowledge of luxury fabrics and their appropriate handling techniques

Skills
Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in luxury garment alterations, tailoring, or bespoke clothing modification, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or management capacity within a luxury retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in tailoring, garment construction, or fashion design is preferred.
