Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and establish structural processes for the alterations department to ensure operational efficiency and consistency
- Drive positive outcomes through clear objectives, measuring and monitoring progress and results against departmental targets
- Create and maintain a professional work environment that exemplifies the company's standards of excellence and luxury service
- Foster effective teamwork and communication between the selling organization and the alterations department
- Recruit, select, train, and develop quality professional alterations associates to maintain high service standards

Qualifications
- 3 or more years of management experience with comparable operational volume or demonstrated track record of managing operations workforce and achieving measurable results
- Knowledge of alterations industry including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant business technology systems
- Flexibility to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday schedules based on business demands
Skills
Experience
3+ years of management experience in operations or retail, with a proven track record of leading teams and achieving results in high-volume or luxury retail environments. Prior experience in fitting, tailoring, or alterations within an upscale or luxury setting is preferred but not required. Ability to perform alterations on a diverse range of garments is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
