Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational support to all Alterations Associates to ensure exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Organize and establish structural processes within the alterations department to enhance efficiency and consistency
  • Drive positive outcomes through strategic objective-setting, progress monitoring, and results measurement
  • Create a professional work environment by communicating and exemplifying the company's standards of excellence and service quality
  • Foster effective collaboration between the selling organization and the Alterations department to align business goals
  • Maintain consistently high customer service standards by recruiting, selecting, training, and developing quality professional Alterations Associates
  • Deliver ongoing education, performance assessment, and constructive feedback to associates regarding quality, productivity, service standards, and departmental policies
  • Manage scheduling flexibility to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday business needs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of management experience with comparable operational volume or proven track record of success managing operations workforce and achieving results
  • Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Fitting and tailoring experience in a high-end or luxury merchandise setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the alterations industry, including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise
  • Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday schedules as business needs require

Experience
