Alterations Associate position in Troy, FL with a luxury retailer, responsible for precision garment alterations and client coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform precise alterations on luxury garments including hemming, seaming, and custom fitting adjustments
- Assess garment condition and advise clients on alteration feasibility and timeframes
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all alterations to preserve garment integrity and aesthetics
- Coordinate with clients regarding fittings, measurements, and alteration specifications
- Ensure all altered garments meet luxury brand quality standards before delivery
- Organize and manage alteration workflow to meet client delivery expectations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hand-sewing and machine-sewing techniques
- Knowledge of fabric types and their behavior during alterations
- Ability to read and interpret garment patterns and measurements
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and precision in garment modification

Experience
1-3 years of experience in garment alteration, tailoring, or related fashion production roles
