Alterations Associate position in San Francisco with expertise in garment tailoring and custom fitting for luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute alterations including hemming, seaming, tapering, and other garment modifications with precision and care
- Conduct thorough garment assessments and provide clients with tailoring recommendations
- Maintain pristine work standards and quality control throughout all alteration processes
- Manage alteration timelines and ensure on-time completion of client requests
- Organize and categorize garments throughout the alteration workflow
- Collaborate with retail sales associates to coordinate client needs and delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in garment alterations and sewing techniques
- Proficiency with both hand sewing and industrial sewing equipment
