Role & Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans
- Build and optimize integrated three-statement financial models reflecting evolving retail operations and capital structures
- Direct consolidated capital expenditure deployment and analyze efficiency across stores, e-commerce, and logistics to maximize ROIC
- Partner with private equity sponsors, investment banks, and corporate development on financial evaluation, due diligence, and modeling for M&A, recapitalizations, and restructurings
- Lead end-to-end forecasting calendars, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely deliverables
- Drive governance over corporate overhead via rigorous expense management, cost-containment initiatives, headcount modeling, and zero-based budgeting
- Manage daily liquidity, credit facility strategies, and debt covenant compliance
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing corporate finance and FP&A team
- Generate precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure strict adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations
- Coordinate internal and external auditing activities
- Act as management liaison for board and audit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly quantitative discipline
- Minimum 10–12+ years of progressive corporate finance, private equity turnaround, investment banking, or financial consulting experience
- Leadership experience within retail, consumer goods, or omni-channel sectors
- Deep familiarity with 4-wall store economics, GMROI, inventory turn optimization, and peak seasonal working capital cycles
- Expertise in GAAP/IFRS principles and corporate tax legislation
- Mastery of structural modeling, including building and auditing complex integrated three-statement models from scratch
- Experience with liquidity forecasting (e.g., 13-week cash models) and managing credit facility draws
- Proven success supporting private equity sponsors or investment banks with due diligence and M&A modeling
- Skilled in establishing corporate governance thresholds and leading investment committee processes

Education
