Role & Responsibilities
- Execute store presentation standards, including window and floor displays, promotional set-ups, lettering and signage according to corporate visual directives.
- Prepare and install trunk show and personal appearance displays in coordination with Sales Support and the Visual Manager.
- Perform selling-floor replenishment and maintain wall units to ensure continuous visual integrity and stock presentation.
- Use carpentry and painting techniques to build, repair and finish display fixtures and props safely and efficiently.
- Support ad hoc visual and production tasks as required to meet opening readiness and promotional timelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience on a visual team within a major multi-level department store, with a portfolio of completed projects.
- Proven ability to use carpentry tools safely and to perform painting and basic production tasks.
- Experience in styling, fashion pulls and knowledge of materials used in retail display production.
- Strong awareness of current fashion and art trends and the ability to translate them into commercial displays.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.

Minimum two years on a visual merchandising team at a major, multi-level department store; demonstrable portfolio of past display projects and hands-on experience with production, carpentry and styling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or a certificate in visual merchandising, fashion, display design, or related field preferred.
