Saks Fifth Avenue seeks a Visual Associate to support the preparation and execution of floor-ready presentations across the luxury retail environment. The role encompasses promotional and sale set-up, window and in-store display design, signage installation, and merchandise replenishment. The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, proficiency with carpentry tools and painting techniques, and a strong understanding of current fashion and art trends.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare sales floor for store opening with visual readiness and initiative
- Execute promotional and sale set-up including presentation, lettering, and signage installation
- Assist Sales Support Team with trunk show and personal appearance preparations
- Replenish merchandise on selling floor and wall units
- Follow corporate visual guidelines and directives from Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team
- Execute ad hoc responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years visual team experience in major multi-level department store
- Portfolio of previously created visual projects
- Safe and efficient use of carpentry tools
- Proficiency in painting techniques
- Knowledge of basic production and materials
- Experience in styling and fashion pulls
- Strong knowledge of current fashion and art trends
