Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton seeks a Visual Associate — onsite role focused on windows, mannequins and in‑store presentation. Hourly $21.53–$26.91.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain compelling visual environments on the selling floor, including window displays and in-store vignettes that adhere to corporate visual standards.
- Dress and style mannequins and lifestyle displays to reflect current merchandising directives and seasonal campaigns.
- Execute promotional and sale set-ups — presentation, lettering and signage — and support trunk shows and personal appearance activations.
- Prepare the selling floor for opening by ensuring 'selling floor readiness' through proactive merchandising and presentation tasks.
- Replenish merchandise and maintain wall units and floor fixtures according to planograms and visual guidelines.
- Follow directives from the Visual Manager and Corporate Visual team and complete ad hoc production and installation tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience on a visual team within a major multi-level department store and a portfolio of completed visual projects.
- Proven ability to use carpentry tools safely and efficiently and experience with painting techniques.
- Practical knowledge of basic production processes and materials handling.
- Experience in styling, fashion pulls and strong awareness of current fashion and art trends.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative, solution orientation and ability to meet targets with limited supervision.

Experience
At least 2 years of hands-on visual merchandising experience in a major, multi-level department store environment with a portfolio demonstrating executed installations and displays.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or degree in visual merchandising, fashion, design or a related discipline preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.53 to USD 26.91 per hour.
